About the SAVE Humanity project
This new educational project intends to raise debate on the best solutions to help reduce crime, and save lives of future innocent victims.
This will be done by using the experience of offenders themselves (past, present or potential), as well as a variety of humanists, legal professionals, policy makers, and other influential individuals concerned by understanding and promoting the need to address crime outside a strictly legal justice framework.
This project recognises that mere incarceration, or harsh sentencing does not allow always help reduce or prevent crime. It is costly to the tax payers. Experience has also shown that harsh sentencing disintegrates families without necessarily helping the prisoners themselves, let alone Society as a whole.
This is an interactive project, to be build progressively with the input of many.
